Entitled to Overcome
I live for today because tomorrow is never promised.
I started working out at the age of 15, only 6" and 115lbs. Walking into high school, I was amazed by the fact that so many seniors could bench 300lbs and I dreamed of being that strong by the time I was a senior. I quickly started spending all my free time in the gym looking at magazines, studying supplements, and eating my ass off.
By the end of my freshmen year, my bench went up from 110lbs to 225lbs and I weighed 160lbs.
By sophmore year, I was up to 275lbs on bench weighing 180lbs. Then junior year came around and I was still weighing 180lbs and getting tighter benching 330lbs. That is the year I started dieting and figuring out how to cut weight and use supplementation the correct way. I never quit dieting after that. To me a diet is a healthy lifestyle just making smart choices. I dont believe in over kill diets unless your training for a show or
competition. Most of the time you gain that weight back, but it's easy to keep off if needed.
By the end of senior year, I was benching 360lbs and weighed 180lbs. I ended up cutting down to 169lbs for states on the weightlifting team and placing 6th in the state of Florida. Went from a nobody to a somebody and it all just seemed like a dream. But I dream big! I hit 430lbs on the bench my freshmen year of college and squatted 500lbs for sets. After that, I decided to start focusing on bodybuilding and stop lifting as much weight. I realized the best bodies are from being proportionate, not from just performing good at a couple exercises.
Currently, I am 21 years old and a IFBB Pro competitor in the men's physique class. I am committed to a healthy lifestyle for the rest of my life and want to help other people change there lives and feel stronger, healthier, and feel young.
